Past Adoption Practices:
In conversation with Evelyn Robinson
On the 23rd June 2012, the federal Australian government announced a forthcoming apology to Australian birth mothers who experienced forced adoption.
I am in conversation today with Evelyn Robinson, a social worker, activist and advocate.
On a personal level, Evelyn has been affected by past adoption practices and has been providing post adoption support since 1989.
Professionally, Evelyn has worked with adults whose lives have been affected by adoption separation and provided training for those who work with them in Australia and internationally.
